The details are academic but my boss’ boss ^ 10 (no kidding) presented an award to me tonight, it coincidentally completes a pair I would never have expected; Funny little world, any of my co-workers deserve it just as much as do I.

…After finding out today I’ve been afforded a rather Damoclesian honour; I sincerely hope that I can get by on the thin veneer of outward charm I can fake rather than have to deal with people as gracelessly as I seem to best intentions or not. :-/

FWIW if you use Firefox right-click on a tab you have open already, select “undo close tab.” It might get you the one you were looking for.

It feels good - if a little cavalier - to have the new summer(-only) tires on the car; I may still see frost before it warms up for good here and that will make driving an engaging experience. That said a little bit of slip beats the hell out of studded snow tires on bare roads for my roadie this weekend!
